celebrating six years

From a tent in a parking lot to three studios across Orange County. This is how we got here.

WHERE IT STARTED

MOXI3 opened in 2020 in a parking lot tent during the height of COVID. No walls, no mirrors, and far from a perfect setup.

Just 6-feet distance markers, our team rolling out 50 bikes at 5 a.m., and people doing their best to stay healthy in a time that made routine and connection difficult.

From the beginning, one thing became clear. People were not just coming for the workout. They were coming for each other.

same people, different training

A lot looks different since the parking lot.

Shred evolved into a full conditioning program to meet the demands of an increasingly fit (and competitive) member base. We became the first HYROX affiliated gym in the area in January 2023.

Sculpt was added in 2025 to balance our programming with a mat workout that matches the standard and intensity of the MOXI3 brand.

Our photos are brighter, our programming has more variety, and our team is bigger. But the core of MOXI3 has not changed. This community still shows up for each other the same way it did in the tent six years ago.

what you built

Countless friendships have started in this studio. Dozens of group HYROX trips have been taken together. Several engagements and even a marriage or two have originated within our walls.

Members became front desk staff, then trainers and coaches. When someone in this community needed support, you organized fundraisers and showed up without being asked.

None of it was part of a business plan. All of it happened because of the people who keep walking through the door.

three studios, one community

In 2026, MOXI3 opened two new studios. Sculpt has its own home on Newport Boulevard. A new community in Dana Point is getting stronger and creating connections of their own.

Six years in, three locations deep, and the community is stronger than it has ever been. The tent is long gone, but the thing that started in it never left.

Thank you for making MOXI3 what it is. We can’t wait to celebrate what you’ve helped us build.
